SpringBond TV debut on Old House New Home

Hitting TVs nationwide on Sunday evening, we’re proud to have supplied our SpringBond carpet underlay for use on

George Clarke’s Old House New Home on Channel 4 for one of the show’s builds in Maida Vale.

The Victorian flat had ‘seen better days’ but was given a new lease of life after George worked his magic. SpringBond was used underneath the carpets in the master bedroom and spare bedroom, giving a luxurious feel underfoot while recycling 360 plastic bottles over the 30m2 space.

As well as being green, clean and durable, with a depth of 11mm SpringBond offers superb under-foot comfort. The thickness of the underlay means it’s not just comfortable but insulating both in terms of heat and noise acoustics.  It has industry-leading sound-proofing properties, minimising the transfer of noise between floors – ideal for those who live in flats and value peace and quiet.

Unlike most carpet underlays SpringBond is fully recyclable at the end of its useable life and, because it contains no PU foam, there are no harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds) meaning better air quality throughout the home.
